In the Fall of 2019, I took a class called Technology and Humans, NEW 445, with Dr. Barabara Brickman. Being that I am in New College, I am required to take some of the New College electives as a part of my depth study in Multichannel Marketing. NEW 445 is focused on how humans interact with technology as well as how technology affects us. Dr. Brickman wanted us to do a TED Talk style presentation where we focused on the data that big companies are taking from us. Feel free to download the presentation to check it out.
In the Fall of 2019, I had the opportunity to teach a class for CSM 475, Entrepreneurship, with Dr. Sue Parker. Being that I am an entrepreneur and my knowledge of marketing, Dr. Parker insisted that I teach the class how to market startups and small businesses.
In the Spring of 2019, I had the opportunity to help redesign and teach CSM 480, E-Commerce, with Dr. Sue Parker. Here is one of my presentations we added to the class to help show the importance of social media and analytics within the e-commerce part of business.
In the Spring of 2019, I took Global Marketing, IBA 455, with Professor Joel Strayer. This was my first upper-level class, but I wanted to challenge myself by taking a harder class rather than the intro 300 level classes. Our project was taking Cleveland Whiskey to a new international market. After going through several quantitative and qualitative factors we chose Canada as the most appropriate destination. Our plan includes several strategies to take Cleveland Whiskey to market in Canada. You can download the file and check it out for yourself.
